JOAN RIVERS - RIVERS SLAMS DUBBING DECISION

Comedienne JOAN RIVERS has hit out at movie giants DREAMWORKS for redubbing her cameo in SHREK 2 for its UK release.

The sharp-tongued 61-year-old was stunned to discover she was replaced with British TV presenter KATE THORNTON when the animated hit crossed the Atlantic.

She says, "Aren't they fools? They had no idea that I'm known in the UK - I'm going on tour over here this month, I just played the Haymarket Theatre in London and I have my own comedy series coming to Channel Five. It was stupid to waste that money - they could have given it to charity."

"Who is this Kate Thornton? If she earned a nickel more than me, she's dead."
