Hip-hop star NELLY would rather smoke marijuana than drink alcohol.

The HOT IN HERRE rapper finds the feeling of getting high far more pleasant than a drunken stupor.

He tells FHM, "I'm more of a chronic guy. I don't get drunk too often; I hate that queasy feeling.

"Women, though, they love wine, especially the Pinot Grigio. I've found that most women like to be drunk."
