SANDRA BULLOCK - BULLOCK AND GOSLING SPLIT

Hollywood actress SANDRA BULLOCK has reportedly parted ways with her toyboy lover RYAN GOSLING.

MISS CONGENIALITY star Bullock, 39, and 22-year-old Gosling began dating shortly after they met on the set of criminal thriller MURDER BY NUMBERS in early 2001, but sources say the pair have now called it quits.

A pal tells American magazine US WEEKLY, "The break-up happened months ago, but they managed to keep it out of the news. They both like their privacy."

And surprisingly their 17-year age difference was not to blame for the split, says the friend, who explains, "The whole long distance thing got tough. There was no big drama or blow-up. They're still friends."

Bullock uses her ranch in Austin, Texas, as a home base, while Gosling just moved into a loft in downtown Los Angeles.
