NICOLAS CAGE - `ROBIN HOOD' CAGE MASTERS THE BOW + ARROW

NICOLAS CAGE has developed a passion for archery after discovering he's a bow-and-arrow natural while preparing for his new movie THE WEATHER MAN.

The movie star took his first archery lessons so he'd look authentic as a TV weather man with a love for the ancient art - and he discovered he has a natural talent for the sport.

He says, "There aren't too many things that I will come out and say I'm a natural at and when I started doing archery, that was the first time I really found something, besides acting, that I thought, `Maybe I can do this.'

"The archery in the movie was mine. I did all that. I'm happy to say that. I really enjoyed it. I'd like to continue doing it when I get some time."

Cage isn't the only movie star who has discovered a natural talent for archery - THELMA + LOUISE star GEENA DAVIS was once ranked one of America's top 20 female archers after mastering the sport a decade ago.
