Vincent Vincent and the Villains' unfathomably infectious blend of modern rock 'n' roll has so far been showcased in late-night London dives and on limited indie pressings, but - as with all good things - word spreads. With an ever growing fanbase and super dedicated live following, a band like VV&TV are inevitably going to outgrow such humble beginnings..

And so this is the start of a new chapter for the well-loved London band, as frontman/songwriter Vincent Vincent explains: "I want to be a songwriter who offers up something new. I want everyone to hear what we do."

'Johnny Two Bands' certainly does that. In typical Villains' style, it's a song that makes you want to get up and dance. Based on the occasionally troubled past history of the band, the song has a strong, determined feeling of moving up and moving on, both lyrically and musically. As testament to that, 'Johnny Two Bands' has become a live favourite at VV&TV gigs, with the song causing a chaotic, yet good natured stage invasion at a recent Barfly gig.

"The truer I can be, the more people are going to relate to us," Vincent says. "If you can come up with something that people relate to then that's part and parcel of being a great band. I can find salvation through a song."

You can catch the band's formidable live shows in a town near you in October:
Fri 20th Goldsmiths, London
Sat 21st BCUC, High Wycombe
Sun 22nd Camel Club, Watford
Tues 24th Louisiana, Bristol
Wed 25th Opera House, Bournemouth
Thurs 26th Audio, Brighton
