SINGLE - ‘Turn Da Lights Off’ – MARCH 7 TH

Tweet returns to the fore with her deliciously smooth new single - ‘Turn Da Lights Off’ due out on March 7 th through Gold Mind Inc/Atlantic Records. Produced by Missy Elliott, who also features on the track and Kwame aka K1 Mill (Mary J Blige, Lloyd Banks, JoJo), this retro groove uses a break and intro from Nat King Cole’s ‘Lost April’ and Luther and Cheryl Lynn’s “If this world were mine”. It is the first track to be lifted from the forthcoming new album IT’S ME AGAIN, out on March 21 st.

The singing/song-writing/guitar playing musician that is Tweet and sensational, prized discovery of Missy Elliott signed to the first lady of hip-hop’s label Goldmind Inc in 2002. Her acclaimed debut album Southern Hummingbird spawned the smash hit single ‘Oops (Oh My)’ a song featuring clever word play at its best, which talked about a woman getting in tune with herself physically and emotionally.

Before debuting with ‘Oops (Oh My),’ Tweet appeared together with Genuine on the breathtaking single, ‘Take Away’ on the Miss E...So Addictive album as well as on ‘X’, an album track from Ja Rule's Pain Is Love.

Fast forward to 2005 and prepare to be wowed by the bold and beautiful force about to reflect a stunning and refreshing new presence on the R&B landscape. IT’S ME AGAIN sees production by Missy Elliott , Timbaland, Craig Brockman, Soul Diggaz and Nisan Stewart. Rocafella artist, Rell appears on ‘ Could It Be’ and Tweet’s teenage daughter Tashawna joins her mother on the soul stirring track, ‘ Two Of Us ’.
