20th Century Fox are delighted to announce that we are commencing the online publicity for 'Tristan and Isolde' an epic tale of love and betrayal, based on the timeless Celtic myth of star-crossed passion.

Releasing on 21st April 2006 - 'Tristan and Isolde' is directed by Kevin Reynolds (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) and stars James Franco (Spider Man I and II, James Dean) as the English Warrior Tristan and Sophia Myles (Underworld, Thunderbirds) as Irish princess Isolde.

This longtime dream project of executive producers Tony Scott and Ridley Scott explores the medieval legend of a princess and warrior's love affair. First separated by countries at war, and now by loyalty to King and country, Tristan ( James Franco ) and Isolde ( Sofia Myles ) must suppress their emotions for the sake of peace and the future of England. But the more they deny their passion, the more fiercely it burns. Despite their efforts to stay apart, Tristan and Isolde are driven inexorably together, risking everything for one last moment in each other's arms. A tale of epic battles, royal intrigue and a timeless, star-crossed passion.
