Proper 'Major label' rock - its as polished as you'd expect from a warner single (especially one mixed by Andy Wallace), but other than sounding a bit like linkin park, (which is enough to satisfy many) Headstrong doesn't really deliver the goods. Its not too surprising that they aren't doing anything too daring, but you'd always hope for more from a first single. Who knows, maybe they'll be slow builders; the other tracks on this single show a good range of variation, so it might just happen. 5/10
