Transplants – the celebrated trio formed by Tim Armstrong, Travis Barker, and Rob Aston – release ‘Gangsters and Thugs’ on August 29 th, through Atlantic Records. This is the first single to be taken from the album ‘Haunted Cities’, out now.

The band first came together in 1999 as the experimental brainchild of Rancid guitarist/vocalist Tim Armstrong, then Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, and rapper Rob Aston (collectively, Armstrong, Barker and Aston have sold some 15 million albums in the U.S. alone!), in 2002 the group released their self-titled debut album which sold 50,000 copies in the UK.

Transplants are currently headlining the Vans Warped Tour in the States - a 2 month cross-country trek, whilst in the UK they are confirmed to play Reading/ Leeds , headlining the Radio 1 lock up stage at the latter, In addition they will also be playing The Astoria and Koko in August.
