Tom Hanks' role
in the critically acclaimed Road To Perdition is a distinct
departure for the Two-time Academy Award® winner - he
plays a gangster hitman.
Tom Hanks (“Forrest Gump,” “Philadelphia”)
heads the cast of the drama “Road to Perdition,”
under the direction of Academy Award®-winning director
Sam Mendes (“American Beauty”).
Hanks stars as Michael Sullivan, a hit man
for an Irish gang in the Depression-era Midwest. When his
work crosses into his private life, leading to the death of
his beloved wife and son, Sullivan and his surviving son set
out on a journey of retribution and redemption.
“Road to Perdition” also stars Oscar®-winning
screen legend Paul Newman (“The Color of Money”),
Oscar® nominee Jude Law (“The Talented Mr. Ripley”),
