The first trailer
for the second Tomb Raider film, Lara Croft: The Cradle of
Life, is being premiered exclusively on Yahoo America today
(see dircet link below). The trailer has not been seen on
TV or theatres, so this is the only place fans are able to
see their first glimpse of the next Tomb Raider installment.
Angelina Jolie will return as the top heavy
heroine on UK screens on the 22nd August and is sure to storm
the box office.
This time around, archaeologist and explorer
extraordinaire Lara Croft journeys to a temple, sunken underwater,
that leads to a sphere that contains the mythical Pandora's
Box, only to have it stolen from her by Chen Lo, the leader
of a Chinese crime syndicate, who's in league with a bad guy
named Reiss who wants to use the Box as a doomsday weapon.
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life
is directed by Jan De Bont (Basic Instinct) and stars Angelina
Jolie, Gerard Butler, Chris Barrie, Djimon Hounsou, Ciaran
Hinds, Til Schweiger and Noah Taylor.
