Tiny Dancers is the 'Lions Tigers And Lions' EP, released 20th November. Produced by John Leckie, the EP is available on five track CD single or four track 12 inch single, packaged with final track 'Going Away' as a bonus one-sided 7-inch single.

Lead track '20 To 9' gives some indication of the scope of the bands' musical ambition; epic but not pompous, catchy but complex, cleverly constructed but totally uncontrived, '20 To 9' is the perfect introduction to the off-kilter world of Tiny Dancers. The lighter, glockenspiel-led 'Hemsworth Hallway' follows, with its sweet yet gently mocking chorus; then there's the happy-sad sunny melancholia of 'Russian Snow'; the twisted country rock of 'Sun Goes Down'; and finally the glorious sing-along stomp of 'Going Away'.

On 'Lions And Tigers And Lions' Tiny Dancers display more imagination in five songs than many bands manage in their whole careers. It's rare to hear a new band that's so difficult to pigeonhole, who have such a strong identity that they already sound utterly themselves.

Based in Sheffield but originally from the small mining towns of South Kirkby, South Elmsley and Brierley in West Yorkshire, Tiny Dancers formed in February 2005, although the five band members have known each other since their school days. This summer the band released two very limited AA side 7-inch singles on their own label, Russian Doll Records. Their debut album will be released in Spring 2007.
