Possibly the most unlikely candidates for a soaring successful pop band simply due to their looks alone, The Young Knives continue to defy logic and carry on winning over the nation's hearts with their unique brand of corduroy pop, classic songs and unlikely stage manner.

Most recently The Knives' have been away in the States where they found time to nip over to the hectic SxSW festival.

Now back on home shores, June sees The Young Knives return with the next single from their forthcoming debut album. Showing yet another side of themselves, 'She's Attracted To' contains possibly some of the most provincial lyrics since Jarvis Cocker in his prime. 'Your dad cornered me in the hallway while you were in the loo / gave me a right talking to / said I was a terrorist!'

'She's Attracted To' tells the tale of a scrutinised boyfriend, back to the wall, writhing under the unnerving, hawk eyes of his girlfriend's parents who are only too quick to warn her off him - a situation, surely, we can all identify with. Witty observations, totally British and climaxing in a frenzied final chorus ('you were screaming at your mum, I was punching your dad')* all mark another landmark release from The Knives.
