The Wombats' new single 'Backfire at the Disco' is out on 9 April, and the video is currently getting heavy rotation on MTV2. It's a pastiche of Cliff Richard's 'Wired for Sound', with rollerskates and everything.
With little regard towards their carbon footprint, The Wombats have just announced a 35-date headline UK tour for May, during which they will sample the manifold delights of Ilford, Letchworth and Mansfield amongst others. This is in addition to their own dates, they play SXSW, a couple of dates in Los Angeles and a quick trip over to Amsterdam.
