Dundonian 4 piece, The View, release their second single for 1965 Records, Superstar Tradesman, on Monday 23rd October 2006.

Produced by Owen Morris (producer of the Verve's seminal Northern Soul and Oasis' debut Definitely Maybe) in rural Yorkshire in two weeks during May of this year, it features on the band's, as yet untitled, debut album which will be released in early 2007. This is the follow up single to the bands last release, Wasted Little DJs.

The band, who earlier this year supported Primal Scream and played an incendiary set at T In The Park, have also announced a string of UK dates running until the end of the year. Recent dates have sold out in hours and much of the bands forthcoming headline tour is sold out, including the London Kings College show where tickets went within a day of being put on sale.
