Having secured their reputation as Britain’s most important new band with the release of their Top 20 single ‘Rock & Roll Queen’ and their widely praised debut album ‘Young For Eternity’, The Subways are set to break into the mainstream with the release of the single ‘With You’. ‘With You’ will be released on September 5th on City Pavement/Infectious.

One of the most striking moments of the Ian Broudie produced ‘Young For Eternity’, ‘With You’ is an exuberant love song with an explosive chorus that contrasts with one of frontman Billy Lunn’s most sensitive lyrics.

This summer has seen The Subways undertake an intense run of high profile support slots and festival dates. Not only have they supported Oasis, Weezer and Embrace, but they’ve also impressed at the Glastonbury, T In The Park, Isle Of Wight and Guilfest festivals. The trio have also played festivals across Europe and Japan (where the album entered the international charts at #5) and complete the summer circuit by playing both Reading and Leeds in August.

‘Young For Eternity’ finds The Subways writing material of the quality you’d expect from seasoned songwriters but performing it with the kind of reckless abandon that crackles with the intensity, soul and sexuality that only the exuberance of youth can truly provide.
