The Strokes release a new single You Only Live Once, taken from their Number One album First Impressions Of Earth, through Rough Trade Records on July 24th.

This is the third single to be lifted from First Impressions Of Earth.

The single will include the video of the single plus a cover of the Marvin Gaye classic Mercy, Mercy Me, a track from Gaye's acclaimed early '70's album What's Going On. The track also features a vocal contribution from Eddie Vedder and Josh Homme on drums.

Having just headlined the Wireless Festival in London The Strokes will also be performing at T In The Park and the Oxegen Festival during the summer.
