Montreal's The Stills release their second single the outstanding "Lola Stars & Stripes" through 679 Recordings on the Feb 16th. The single will feature two previously unreleased tracks the sublime 12" remix of "Still In Love Song" and four track demo version of "Lola Stars & Stripes". The Stills debut album "Logic Will Break Your Heart" will be released on Feb 23rd. The album has already been released in the US to commercial and critical success.

The band has just finished touring the US as guest support for Ryan Adams. While on tour Tim Fletcher & Dave Hamlin from the Stills formed a death Metal group called "Whorenet" with Ryan Adams on drums, they wrote three songs "Season Of The Bitch", "Car Crashin" and "Beyond The Land Of The Dead Ghosts.

A demo version of 'Lola Stars and Stripes' can be downloaded exclusively from The Stills official site www.the-stills.co.uk. Using DRM, the download is one of the first copyright protected singles released over the internet.

The band will be touring the UK in February, they will play their own headline dates as well as supporting British Sea Power and playing an NME Brats show with Ryan Adams.
