Motorcycle is the sound of wide-eyed yearning, life-affirming melodies all awash with the optimism of youth. Heralded in by a brass intro with a respectful nod towards Otis Redding, 'Motorcycle' recalls the kind of anthemic, timeless pop of David Bowie in his pomp.

This is a song with an enormous heart written by an enigmatic day-dreamer ("with a glint in my eye / I'll show you this little boy could really fly"). Motorcycle builds and builds, rushing all the time towards an absolutely grand finale, where the song climaxes with Charlie hitting that note - this is as close to pop perfection as you are going to get.

The Rumble Strips are a truly special group: Pure, sad and romantic - writing huge, pop songs tapped directly from the heart - whilst looking and sounding like no one else. Theirs are songs that strike a chord with the masses, whilst remaining enigmatic and standing alone from the crowd.

The Rumble Strips are:
Charles Waller - Vox / Guitar
Matthew Wheeler - Drums
Henry Clark - Keys / Trumpet
Thomas Gorbutt - Sax / Bass
