Signed to brand new independent label Manta Ray Music in late 2005, The Rain are a brand new, multi-national 3 piece ready to make a blistering scar across the UK musical landscape with this, their calling card and
debut single, 'Big Lie'.

The band are fresh from recording their full length debut album with Teo Miller (Placebo, Blur), and from shooting their debut video in Milan with debutant director, a certain supermodel Eva Herzigova, soon to spread over the music channels like a nasty rash.

'Big Lie' has been picking up friends and fans at Radio 1 with Colin Murray spins already, a month and a half ahead of release. Also, look out for single number two in February 07 and of course the fantastic album 'Involver', set for a March 07 release.
