The song writing duo at the heart of The Procession, J. Paul Zawacki and John Schreffler, met in a catechism class in the 8th grade of their Michigan school. They bonded over a love of music & experimented in bands throughout their school years.

The recent waves the band were making rippled over the Atlantic and caught the attention of legendary UK indie label Nude. Don't Let Go/Don't Hesitate is their debut UK single release.

Inspired by the complex musical arrangement of 60¹s Brit Invasion band The Zombies, the inverted world of The Shins and the pop-savant harmonies of Weezer this is the first taste of their forthcoming album Musique Magnifique. Don't Let Go is sonically sophisticated and minutely arranged Californian pick-me-up magnificence. Feel the sunshine stream in through your ears.

Double A-side Don't Hesitate comes across like a Beach Boys bittersweet shanty, with seaside-bright guitars and metronomic piano. The band whistling floats over the outro. The Procession are a US indie band marching through their own world of harmony and melody; time to join the cavalcade.
