The Orichalc Phase is the warped brainchild of Demian Castellanos, the most recent signing to DC Recordings, and DC Recordings present 'Respond in Silence'
as his debut release.

Whereas comparisons can be drawn between contemporaries such as Stereolab and Broadcast, 'Respond In Silence'‚ offers a unique and highly original take on the 'retro-futurist' aesthetic, taking it to the dance-floor and beyond. This is an altered reality where treated vocals flicker in and around layers of droning Moogs and metronomic rhythms combine with an incessant bass-line to create a taut yet spacey groove that challenges the listener to stay still.
