The Ordinary Boys follow hugely successful appearances at Scotland’s T In The Park and Ireland’s Oxegen with a new single and more live dates through the summer. In addition, the extra tracks on the single release will be of great interest to all fans of the band.

Following their covers of “Little Bitch” on debut album, “Over The Counter Culture” and “Rudi’s In Love” on current album, “Brassbound” the band will go into Abbey Road in July to record some of their favourite covers for the single release. With The Ruts 70’s punk classic “Babylon’s Burning”, The Kinks, “Set Me Free”, Stevie Wonder’s “A Place In The Sun” from the 1966 classic album “Down To Earth” and The Modern Folk Quartet’s Bacharach written “This Could Be The Night”, these covers serve both as an insight into the band’s favourite tunes and the influences that went into forming the Ordinary Boy sound.

The Ordinary Boys also play a set of very special shows in the UK in August in addition to a fifth trip to Japan for the annual Summersonic festival. Dates are as follows:

August

Friday 19 th - Brixton, Academy, supporting The Streets
Saturday 20 th - Chelmsford, V FESTIVAL
Sunday 21 st - Stafford, V FESTIVAL

The single, “Life Will Be The Death Of Me” will be released on 29 th August.

The album, “Brassbound”, is available now.
