| The Music Co-Headline tour with Coral | ||

Following the release of The People EP on April 29th, The Music
have announced details of a major co-headline tour of the UK with
Liverpools The Coral. The Music have recently completed a
sold out UK mini tour, culminating in a support slot with The
Doves
at Londons Astoria. The Coral, winners of the NME Philip Hall On Award, have recently released the Skeleton Key EP through Deltasonic. The band have also recently completed their debut album with Ian Brodie. Both bands have previously played together in Leeds and Liverpool in October 2001. The dates are as follows: 01.06.02 Sheffield Leadmill 02.06.02 Leicester Charlotte (without The Coral) 04.06.02 Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms 05.06.02 London ULU 06.06.02 London ULU 07.06.02 Birmingham Academy 2 09.06.02 Oxford Zodiac 10.06.02 Cardiff Coal Exchange 11.06.02 Brighton Concorde 2 12.06.02 Northampton Roadmender 13.06.02 Manchester University 15.06.02 Middlesborough Town Hall 16.06.02 Glasgow QMU Tickets for the shows will be £8.50, except in London where they will be £9.50 and will be available from www.gigsandtours.com The Music released their limited edition debut single, Take The Long Road And Walk It through Fierce Panda in May of last year and subsequently signed to Hut Recordings in the summer releasing the You Might As Well Try To Fuck Me EP in November 2001. The band are currently recording their debut album with Jim Abbiss who has also worked with the likes of DJ Shadow and Bjork.
