2002 was a hugely successful year for the Music in their native UK. A number of successful tours culminated in sell out shows at Londons Astoria and a hometown return at Leeds Blank Canvas in September. The summer months also saw the band perform to packed tent audiences at the Glastonbury, T In The Park and Reading Festivals. They additionally completed a sold out tour of Japan in December, where their album has sold in excess of 100,000 copies and a joint US tour with the Vines where they were playing to sell out audiences of over 2000 people per night. 2003 started on a similar note with the band completing a sell out 5-date UK tour taking in the likes of Brixton Academy and Glasgow Barrowlands. This month sees them head out to Australia and New Zealand as part of the Big Day Out tour and to the US to complete a second American tour with Coldplay in February / March. The Music are: Robert Harvey (vocals / guitar); Stuart Coleman (bass); Adam Nutter (guitar); Phil Jordan (drums). Check out the eCard for The Music's new single "The Truth Is No Words" |
