This is powerful raw blues rock that pulls no punches and goes someway towards justifying all the hype that surrounds The Kills.

The intensity of the relationship between the two protagonists gives them and their music the edge over similar artists in the eyes of many. The B-side is as intriguing as the main track on the basis that the Jonathon Fire Eater cover ‘The Search For Cherry Red’, brings out the tender side of The Kills. VV’s vocals are notably softer and slower being complemented by Hotel’s hoarse vocals in a stirring rendition.
