A trio from Preston, Lancashire, The KBC have already played Glastonbury, appearing on the Unsigned Stage last year. They've had support from Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe, and will be on tour throughout June.

Released as a download only single, "Sherlock Groove Holmes" is aptly titled as it kicks in with a load of funk…before seemingly turning into Three Blind Mice. Get passed that, and you're treated to a Franz Ferdinand meets The Killers number that swaggers with the confidence of Big Brother's Sezer – but these lot are unlikely to be evicted from your stereo quite as quickly as he was.
