Death At The Chapel
Single Review

The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster with shorter songs, better cheekbones and a Farfisa organ? You decide, but as the battle of style over substance drags on, it's hard not to at least empathise with what The Horrors are attempting to achieve, even if their variant take on scary movie themed punk rock schtick has been done so many times before.

To be fair, 'Death At The Chapel' isn't all bad - in fact it ends before you've even heard enough to make an informed decision on it's merits, so at least boredom isn't one option you're likely to arrive at.

Fine for a 30 second bop then, but please, don't take The Horrors too seriously.

6/10
