Yorkshire four piece The Hair release their second single Disco/Retro on 23rd July through Louder Than Bombs Records. Four minutes of up front, raucous electro-indie-pop, Disco/Retro follows March's debut single Ghosts, released via Fierce Panda's Cool For Cats label. It will be released on ultra limited 7" coloured vinyl and download with each vinyl sleeve personalised by the band.

The band's musical vision encapsulates an upfront, exciting, pop-orientated danceable rhythm, brought together by a Cure-esque voice-box telling tales of early relationships, weekend apathy and the sexual desires of British youth. Beneath the dance floor shaking grooves and taut guitars lay smart intelligent pop songs, while live they regularly stun audiences with percussion heavy breakdowns.

During 2006 the band built up a substantial following in the North and developed a national reputation for their blistering live shows. Supports with The Maccabees, Mumm-ra, The Longcut, Infadels, Good Books, The Pigeon Detectives and being handpicked to tour with The Sunshine Underground were some of the live highlights.
