Following a life-affirming visit to Berlin's Hansa studios Joe Winter and Guy Connelly returned to the UK and formed The Fallout Trust, inspired by the ethos and sounds of the studio that produced classics such as Bowie's 'Low' and Iggy's 'Lust For Liife'. They soon expanded to a six piece that included Joe's brother and sister Matt and Jess, living, writing and recording together in a semi-subterranean warehouse in Dalston, East London which they'd converted themselves in the image of Hansa.

The warehouse, christened Q Quarters, has since become the epicentre of The Fallout Trust's Factory-esque work ethos. It's where the band's forthcoming debut album was recorded and where the artwork is produced. It's also home to The Fallout Trust's critically acclaimed art/film partners, Duckeye, who make all the band's videos. And finally, it's the name of the band's bimonthly club night that's been packing out East London warehouse locations with a fiercely loyal, party-hard crowd since 2003.

After building a loyal fanbase via the Q Quarter parties and tours with artists as diverse as Clor, Tom Vek and Yourcodenamis:milo, The Fallout Trust now prepare to release their second single proper, 'Before The Light Goes' through At Large. Recorded at the Q Quarters and given the magic mix treatment by Rich Rainey (U2's 'All That You Can't Leave Behind') 'Before The Light Goes' is a shimmering, sweeping rally that showcases The Fallout Trust's ability to construct edgy, intelligent anthems with ease.

To coincide with the single release, the band will also be embarking on a mammoth UK tour with Leaves. The dates are as follows:
