New single ‘Cut Across The Land’ by The Duke Spirit will be released on the 19th of

September through Loog. Armed with a new mix by Coldplay-associate Michael Brauer, Cuts… is a thrilling assault of pounding rhythm section, swooping guitars and Liela’s typically impassioned vocals. Taken from the critically-acclaimed debut album of the same name, Cuts Across The Land is The Duke Spirit’s signature track, the thumping intro a clue to the true meaning behind the title: a desire of The Duke Spirit to truly stamp their mark indelibly on the current UK rock scene. With an album’s-worth of songs as accomplished as this, 2005 has seen them do just that.
