There is the
customary slow, melodic build up, which epitomised some
of TCTC’s previous
offerings, although this is a lot tamer with Ben Gautrey’s
Liam Gallagher meets Kelly Jones vocal style kicks in right
from the start. The tune builds up and so does the anger
in Ben’s voice ( almost turning into a shriek )and
the lyrics:
“You came along to change
the grade,
to raise the bar and lay the blame.”
This is a song that will thrill
existing Cooper’s
aficionados to bits, but whether it will win many new fans
and raise them to playing above 1000+ capacity venues, is
doubtful.
