New Album: Up At The Lake (May 17th)
The Charlatans release a new album through Universal/ Island
Records entitled Up At The Lake on May 17th. The title
track from the album will also be released as a single
on May 3rd. The band will be touring the UK in May / June
and have just announced a second show in Glasgow (25th
May) and Manchester (28th May).
Up At The Lake is The Charlatans’ eighth
album, with three (Some Friendly (1990), The Charlatans (1995)
and Tellin’ Stories (1997) all reaching number one
in the UK chart. The band’s last two albums, Us and
Us Only (1999) and Wonderland (2001) debuted at number two.
