Now signed up to Def Jam, Taz has set about creating a timeless debut album that tells his story and document’s 21st Century life in this country. Wide eyed contemporary soul, realistic social reportage, thought provoking lyricism, sonically evocative and explorative sounds all clash with gritty tough hip hop breaks, the odd heavy guitar riff, and plenty more invention, good ideas and personal expression

It’s true to say that UK urban music in 2004, has experienced somewhat of a renaissance, the mainstream media has adopted the underground in the name of cutting edge- but like his affiliate Dizzee Rascal, Taz has evolved his own style
