It's hard not to instantly love the sound of recent XL records signing Tapes 'N Tapes, their quirky and edgy blend of experimental pop is enough to put a smile on the face of any soul. Before they settled on a deal with XL, the band were part of a bidding war between pretty much, every major label in the world.
We spoke to Josh Grier, lead vocals/guitarist, at Leeds Carling Weekend about road trips to the UK, The release of their first full length record 'The Loon' and what it's like to have created one of the hottest bands around.
