Their Album "Angels With Dirty Faces" has sold over 1 million copies worldwide

Two No 1 single's 'Freak Like Me' and 'Round Round' have both sold over 250,000 copies

SUGABABES are releasing their fourth single from their double platinum album 'Angels With Dirty Faces' on March 10th 2003 on the Island label. Entitled 'Shape' it is SUGABABES' interpretation of the Sting song 'Shape Of My Heart' which appeared on his '93 album 'Ten Summoner's Tales' and includes a sample from the original song.

'Shape' will be available on two CDs and cassette. CD1 will feature the radio mix of 'Shape', Sugababes' version of the old Adamski No 1 hit 'Killer', a live version of 'Shape' from the band's fantastic show at the Scala in London earlier this year, and an enhanced section that features the video to 'Shape', which was directed by Michael Gracey. CD2 will feature the album version of 'Shape', the Salaam Remi Remix, the Double R Remix of Sugababes featuring Romeo, and D-Bop's Vocal Breakdown Mix. The cassette (cat no. CIS817) will feature the radio mix, the live version and 'Killer'.

2002 has been an interesting year for SUGABABES. Written off by the label that released their debut album, they landed up at Island Records. A year on and they have had two number 1 singles ("Freak Like Me" and "Round Round") a top 10 hit ("Stronger" - incidentally all three singles were No 1 Airplay Hits!) and reached over a million sales with their second album, Angels With Dirty Faces.

They have won an Elle Style Award (Best Music Stars), a Q Award (Best Single), a Smash Hits Award (Best Album) and to cap it all they were nominated for 3 BRIT Awards (Best Group, Best Album and Best Dance Act) and walked away with the Best Dance Act! SUGABABES also performed at the BRIT Awards, prior to their new single, "Shape" being released on 10 March 2003 and their first UK headlining tour at the end of March.
