On September 19th 2005, Stereophonics will be releasing the third single 'Devil' from their number one platinum selling album "Language. Sex. Violence. Other?" The video for "Devil" has been received with trepidation by all the UK TV channels, who have relegated it to being shown after the 9 p.m watershed – the storyline was conceived by the band's singer Kelly Jones who took inspiration from French and Scorsese movies, plus the stories of Charles Bukowski.
"Devil" will be released on 2 cd's and a 7" orange vinyl disc.
The two track CD has the title track plus "Dapper Dan" recorded at the band's Tower Bridge rehearsals, the Maxi CD has the title track plus 2 live tracks - "Dakota" and "Brother," - both recorded in New York, plus the unedited version of the video for "Devil".
The 7" vinyl will have "Devil" plus the Footswitch rework of the track.
The band have been touring the US, Japan and Australia, and kick off their first UK tour this year on September 3rd in Dublin, culminating in 3 nights in Cardiff.
