STEREOPHONICS TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE

On February 28th 05, Stereophonics will be releasing the first single to be taken from their forthcoming new album "Language. Sex. Violence. Other?"

The album marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the band with the addition of drummer, Javier Weyler and an exhilarating new album, sound and attitude. "This band is so positive right now", says singer Kelly Jones. "We've made the most exciting record we possibly could"

"Dakota" is up there with the very best of Stereophonics songs - a happy-sad hook that grabs you and doesn't let go. It will be released on two CD formats, 7” vinyl and DVD. It is already No.1 on UK iTunes.

CD1 has the title track plus “Long Way Round”, CD2 includes the album version of “Dakota” as well as the Footswitch Rework of the track. It also has a demo of “Soul” and the video for Dakota. The 7” vinyl features “Dakota” and “Long Way Round” and the DVD has the first live rehearsal of “Dakota” as well as the making of the track, the audio single version, plus a photo gallery of photos taken by Scarlet Page and the band.
