Take Me To The Riot, the first single from the forthcoming Stars album, In Our Bedroom After The War. The single is released on 8th October with the album coming out the Monday previously on 1st October.

"In Our Bedroom After the War", the name of Stars' fourth, newest (and best) full-length album, is mysterious, grand, and multi-faceted. Which is fitting, because the 13 marvellous songs collected under that name are as well. Brilliantly melding the intimate with the universal, "In Our Bedroom After The War" is a mesmerising collection of beautifully crafted songs, ranging from seductive electro pop through to sweeping epics with dazzling arrangements, and surely one of the finest albums of 2007. As purveyors of classic, literate pop, Stars are being widely tipped to follow bands such as The Shins and Modest Mouse to mainstream crossover with this release.

The first single to be released from Stars' new album will be the stunning "Take me to the Riot", on 8 October.

Leading lights of Canada's thriving music scene - STARS - will be visiting these shores for a week of tour dates in early October to coincide with the release of their hotly-anticipated new album, "In Our Bedroom After the War", on City Slang records on 1st October. As with many returning acts, Stars are keeping the shows intimate and playing to the faithful, beginning at the Barfly in Birmingham and culminating in a performance at the Scala in London. upcoming dates below:
