Stars who release their killer new single - 'The Night Starts Here' - on 3rd December 2007, check out the intriguing and ever-so-slightly sinister accompanying video. We're not entirely sure what's going on here but its got abit of the David Lynch about it.

Following their sell-out UK tour last month Stars will be returning to the UK / Ireland for a 10 date tour, including a London show at Koko, in late Jan / early Feb 2008.

Stars have already Twice made history with this release. Firstly, driven by a desire to get their record to their fans as soon a possible, while at the same time avoiding the poor quality illegal download sources which people often use prior to an album's release, Stars have been the first act to make their album available immediately via iTunes, breaking entirely with industry convention. And secondly, by being the first act to have a Canadian number 1 album by downloads alone. As purveyors of classic, literate pop, Stars are being widely tipped to follow bands such as The Shins and Modest Mouse to mainstream crossover with this release.
