boarding games have always been fun but now they evolved into
serious entertainment. From the moment you load SSX3 it draws
you in with its high quality graphics and seamless loading so
before you know it your on the slopes. Game play is intuitive
and after a very short learning curve you can be pulling off
some amazing moves or just cruising down a seemingly endless
slope. The game breaks down into a number of parts, you compete
in various races or freestyle events gradually gaining extra
earnings to spend on stats, boards, hat, backpacks etc.etc.
Once your wallet reaches a certain thickness you can venture
onto more and more difficult peaks with more experienced boarders
to pit your wits against.
Visually the game is second to none and
some of the levels are just immense so if you fancy a complete
top to bottom of the mountain then you can and you don't even
notice where loads take place! Couple this with a cracking
sound track that fades in and out at exactly the right time
and the usual boarder banter then SSX 3 is unbeatable. It's
one of those games that you have a quick go at 9pm and are
still sitting there at 4 in the morning.
EA are definitely on a charge and if they
keep up this sort of momentum, world domination is only a
snowboard away. Anyway stop reading this…….go out
and buy it.
