Slipknot's brand new single 'My Plague' is featured on the soundtrack to the widely anticipated survival horror film Resident Evil. The 'My Plague' video features footage from the film itself and was shot at the band's London Docklands Arena Show in February.

Based on the wildly popular video game series, Resident Evil is an action-packed thriller starring Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element), Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious) and Eric Mabius (Cruel Intentions) in a battle of good and evil, human versus computer, the living against the undead. Alice (Milla Jovovich) and Rain (Michelle Rodriguez) lead fellow commandos to isolate the deadly T-virus that has wiped out Umbrella corporation's entire research staff. The team soon discovers, however, that the workers are…not…really…dead. They are now the ravenous, zombie-like Undead, and they are prowling the hive. Nice.

Resident Evil is released through Pathe on the July 21.

My Plague is released through Roadrunner Records on July 8.

Slipknot are confirmed to play the Carling Weekend, August Bank Holiday (August 23-26). The band will play at both the Reading (Sunday) & Leeds (Friday) sites.
