On Tuesday, October 4th renowned soul collective Si*Sé (pronounced see*say) will release their sophomore CD, More Shine. In addition to gearing up for their new album and upcoming West Coast tour, the group's recent live performance on KCRW's (89.9 FM Los Angeles) influential radio show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" will be available as a podcast for 2 weeks starting August 16 from both KCRW.com and iTunes.

Si*Sé's music is a romantic stroll through the global barrio. The band was formed by singer Carol C. and programmer/DJ U.F.LOW. Singing in both Spanish and English, stunning vocalist Carol C (whose family hails from the Dominican Republic) is at once sexy, smooth, soulful and completely unique. Programmer/producer/keyboardist Cliff Cristofaro a.k.a. U.F.LOW is a b-boy minimalist armed with a single MPC drum machine. But theirs is more than a beauty and beats story: A viola player Jeannie Oliver, crack percussionist Neil Ochoa, spirited bassist Morgan Phillips, and live drummer Ryan Farley add an eclectic live punch to songs that range from deep drum 'n' bass to futuristic Latin ritmos and beyond.

"We're a band from New York, so we tried to blend all of the city's musical traditions including hip-hop beats, Latin rhythms and down-tempo electronic," Carol notes. "Those are the sounds that we hear every day of our lives. It's a prelude to the future."
