Simple Plan are set to release their new single, 'Crazy', on February 20 through Atlantic Records. 'Crazy' is taken from the band's second album Still Not Getting Any… that was released to widespread acclaim in February 2005. To coincide with this latest single, the world-conquering Canadians are set to kick off a run of six UK shows at London's Astoria on February 11, with a second Astoria date on February 12 having already been added (and subsequently sold out) to the original five-date tour following overwhelming public demand.

Simple Plan's return to the UK live arena tops off a great 12 months for the band on these shores. The release of Still Not Getting Any…, a sell-out tour in February 2005, plus the release in October of the band's first live album, Hard Rock Live, recorded earlier this year at the Hard Rock Café in Florida, has seen the band steadily winning over a whole new army of fervent fans and now the band are ready to once again wow UK audiences with their contagious and energetic live show.

'Our main goal,' drummer Chuck Comeau insists, 'is that everyone showing up is enjoying themselves.' 'We've definitely stepped it up,' beams singer Pierre Bouvier. 'We're at a level now where anybody could show up to our shows, whether or not they're fans, and enjoy themselves. A lot of times I've met people at shows who weren't even fans of the band, they had a negative perception of us, and they would say to me, 'Tonight, you convinced me to become a fan.''

Over their six-year-career, Simple Plan have honed a live show that's both exciting and unparalleled, yet when you ask the band's members who they hold responsible for this, they'll tell you it's the diehard fans who have always been there for them. 'It still gives me shivers to do this,' says Chuck. 'There are all these people waiting for you, they've been anticipating it and thinking about it. You're a mark on their calendar. You're what they're going to talk about the next day at school. We're blessed to have a chance to do this. It's why we formed a band in the first place—really, how could you not be gracious about that?'
