The fantastic new single from Simple Kid will be "Drugs". Taken from his debut album "SK1", Drugs is described by Simple Kid, aka Ciaran McFeely, as:

"Its basically about how everybody had got their thing that gets them through the day, whether they are praying to God every day, working too hard on promotions everyday or having eating disorders or drinking too much everybody is just psychotic in my opinion. I include myself in all that obviously".

The track has already had excellent airplay, weeks before it's release, by the likes of Radio 1's Mark and Lard...the single is being considered Record of the Week. Other radio 1 dj's playing "Drugs" include Jo Whiiley, Zane Lowe and Donna Legge.

"Drugs" has also had support from Xfm and virgin radio.

Simple Kid is supporting The Thrills on their UK tour having been a massive success as support for Travis on a few of their UK tour dates.

The Kid has also appeared On Later with Jools Holland, where he performed his last single "Average Man".
