Sia
Breathe
Me
It was hard to stop from groaning
when I realised this was about self-harm. Now, I’m sure that self-harm is a
very worthy (and very serious) topic but it fits too easily
into the angsty melodrama genre as occupied by people like
Pink. In fact, vocally and lyrically it seems that Sia is
trying to be “Pink - for grown ups” which is
a shame because the tune isn’t bad at all – a
piano ballad that builds and builds to something really epic
at the end. An OK effort but I’m not convinced.
