And what a great debut... Sweden’s Shout Out Louds are the new kids on the block. With looks befitting the cast of the Royal Tenenbaums and their musical blender of jangle indierock, alt-country and folk pop, the five piece were invited to support The Magic Numbers´ sold out show at London´s Forum last week.

Comprising of Adam Olenius (singer/guitarist), Ted Malmros (bass), Carl von Arbin (guitar), Eric Edman (drums) and Bebban Stenborg (keyboards), Shout Out Louds write songs that are romantic and sinister, danceable and reflective, happy and sad but above all delivered from the heart.

Originating from Stockholm, the band encapsulates the things that make the Swedish capital the great musical metropolis that it is. Following in the footsteps of bands like the majestic Cardigans & more recently The Concretes, Shout Out Louds have so many clever little elements to their sound; it’s the result of talented people living in a country where a deep love of vintage/alternative US rock, country and jazz entwines with the brilliant pop sensibility found in their own back yard.

Having recently completed a US tour with the Futureheads and turned in an outstanding performance at this year’s Coachella Festival, Shout Out Louds are turning heads and moving feet.

Their debut album ‘Howl Howl Gaff Gaff’ will be released in September.

‘Very Loud’ – single is out on June 20 th. Includes two non-album bonus tracks.
