Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, along comes SharkTale - the coolest, hippest, meanest, funkiest underwater animated adventure ever created.

Hot on the heels of the eagerly anticipated SHREK 2, PDI/DreamWorks’ next feature, SharkTale, was launched at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival by three of the movie’s voice-cast – Will Smith, Jack Black and Angelina Jolie – who participated in a photocall and “shark-themed” photo-stunt on the famous Carlton Beach Pier in Cannes.

Set for global release in October, SharkTale takes place in the undersea underworld, where the son of the shark mob boss is found dead and a young fish named Oscar (Will Smith) is found at the scene.

Being a bottom feeder, Oscar takes advantage of the situation and makes himself look like he killed the finned mobster. Oscar soon comes to realize that his claim may have serious consequences, as the salt-water mobsters come looking for revenge…
