Winners of Xfm's unsigned competition, Seeing Scarlet release their debut double A side Ugly Girl/Never Good Enough on 31st October 2005. The release follows frequent and flattering mentions in both The Fly and Music Week magazines, plus a fair few rotations on the aforesaid station.

The single was recorded in the band's hometown of London in the capital's Townhouse Studios with Andy Saunders (Dave Gahan, Placebo, Spiritualized).
