Sean Paul's latest single taken from the album Dutty Rock has had such major backing from radio if you haven't heard this track you must have been hiding under a rock.

Sean has been building a reputation that has impacted in Miami, New York and London. His ability to incorporate hot dancehall tracks with call and response choruses laced with a hip hop vibe has led him to work with the likes of Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, The Neptunes, Tony Touch and Rahzel of the Roots among others. Gimme The Light has been massive at every basement dance in the UK, which gained it a top 40 place in the UK chart with no major push, and Sean a Mobo Award for best Reggae Artist.

We have to mention the likeness to Shaggy, but there are certain things separating these two artists. For example Shaggy admits he only makes an album when he needs the money, Sean Paul's music seems to have a little more authenticity as well as additional depth and meaning - it's not just a way to make money.
